"I just wanted to take a moment to thank both of you [BowMac instructors] for the Critical Incident Management class at the Connecticut Police Academy. I had to use some of the training today on a call where a guy barricaded himself in his residence with a rifle and wanted to die by suicide by cop. Luckily it all worked out, and all he had was a BB gun with the barrel bored out so the responding officers thought it was a shotgun. Everything ended on a peaceful note with the suspect surrendering and no one was injured. I sat in dispatch the rest of the day saying to myself `that training really paid off '. Thank you again!"

"I just wanted to forward these articles to both of you [BowMac instructors]. I can honestly say that if I had not attended the interview and interrogation training back in December, I probably would not have stuck with my interrogation and would have just thrown in the towel. Fortunately, I hunkered down for the long haul, used several techniques and got her to admit to abusing her son. Thanks again guys!"
